Position Summary

We are seeking a Remote Social Work Supervisor to oversee clinical and compliance-related aspects of our international adoption programs. The ideal candidate is experienced in child welfarehome studies, and intercountry adoption, and is committed to ethical, family-centered practice.

This is a remote, part-time role with flexible hours. Ideal for licensed professionals seeking meaningful impact in international social services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise social work staff in clinical services: home studieschild background studiescounselingpost-placement, and adoption readiness.
  • Review home study reports submitted by cooperative or supervised providers.
  • In cooperation with staff, ensure compliance with Hague Convention standards (22 CFR Part 96).
  • Provide guidance on complex cases and support staff working with high-risk families.
  • Participate in agency self-studies and quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director on policy, programming, and ethical practice oversight.
Qualifications
  • Master’s in Social Work (MSW) or a related human services field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in adoptionfoster care, or child welfare services.
  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Hague-accredited adoptionhome study procedures, and intercountry placement.
  • Strong communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote team environment.
