New Beginnings offers two grant programs to help reduce financial barriers for families in need and in support of waiting children.

Eligibility Guidelines
- Applicants must be active in a New Beginnings program
- A completed and approved home study is required prior to application
- For a grant supporting a waiting child, families must be approved or seeking approval to adopt a waiting child
- For a Moroccan Heritage grant, the family must be of Moroccan heritage
- All other grants, financial need must be demonstrated
As a general guideline, financial need may be indicated by:
- Household income below $125,000
- Limited savings (generally below $50,000)
- Other circumstances will be considered.
Grant Amounts
- Morocco Kafala Fund: typically $500 to $2,000
- Beyond the Placement Grant (waiting child): typically $1,000
