Your Gift Helps Make Adoption Possible

Your Support Matters More Than Ever

Every child deserves the chance to grow up in a safe, loving, and permanent home. At New Beginnings Family and Children’s Services, we work every day to make that possible for orphaned and displaced children around the world.

International adoption and kafala are not simple processes—they require care, expertise, cultural understanding, and long-term commitment. From preparing families to advocating for children, from navigating international regulations to offering lifelong post-adoption support, our work is detailed, compassionate, and essential.

Your donation directly strengthens this mission.
It helps us:

  • Prepare and guide families through each step of the adoption journey
  • Advocate for children in partner orphanages who are waiting for permanency
  • Provide post-adoption services that support adoptees over a lifetime
  • Sustain responsible, ethical, and internationally compliant programs

Your generosity creates lasting change—one child, one family, one future at a time.
Thank you for helping us continue this work.

With warmest wishes for a joyful and love-filled Thanksgiving,

New Beginnings Family and Children’s Services

New Beginnings opened its China Program in 1994, and for the next 14 years, it became one of the most meaningful chapters in our history. During that time, 381 children were placed into permanent, loving families through New Beginnings.

Families often traveled in groups, sharing the experience of meeting their children for the first time and forming friendships that continue to this day. Many of these families lived here on Long Island—we knew them personally, celebrated milestones with them, and watched their children grow.

For us, our work in China was exciting, fulfilling, and even joyful. We remain grateful to every family who trusted New Beginnings to be part of their adoption journey.

If you adopted from China and would like to share a photo, please email images to [email protected] with the subject line “China Adoption.”
