Annual Picnic and Fundraiser

New Beginnings Annual Picnic and Fund Raiser New Beginnings’ Annual Family Fun Picnic & Fundraiser will be held Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. The event will be at East Meadow Fireman’s Benevolent Association, 170 Maple Avenue, East Meadow, NY 11554. This year’s Picnic will be for the benefit of the Beyond the Placement Program.

This is New Beginnings program to provide Grants to Families adopting a waiting child. In addition, the program assists Adult Adoptees in exploring their heritage and history.

Last year’s picnic was great fun, with ‘Mad Science’ being the highlight for many. The food was delicious and the raffles are always exciting. With the funds we raised we were able to inaugurate the Beyond the Placement Program. This coming year we are hoping to provide grants to eight families and help another forty adult adoptees with birth family searches and reunions. Come out and enjoy this year’s picnic and support New Beginnings
