This March 18th marks the 50th Anniversary of the founding of our partner, Eastern Social Welfare Society, in Korea.

For the past 50 years, Eastern’s mission has been to improve the quality of life for those in need.

As a professional social welfare organization, adoptions are only a part of what they do. They also actively operate social welfare services for children, single parents, disabled people, and the elderly. Other programs include job training for single mothers to support their families, scholarships for needy youth, special education, training and care for the disabled, elderly care, and support programs for Kopino youths in the Philippines.
