[et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text”]This month, we say farewell to Barbara, a founding member of New Beginnings, as she steps into retirement. Since our inception in 1985, Barbara has been a steadfast presence, embodying commitment, care, and advocacy for the families we serve.

Barbara opened and ran our Florida office beginning in 2000, but her impact stretches far beyond any one location. Many of our first generation of adoptive families knew Barbara well, experiencing firsthand her unwavering dedication to ethical adoption practices. Barbara believed in the importance of preparing parents for adoption and advocated strongly for parent education, support groups, and cultural programs like heritage camps to ensure families thrived.

Her passion for adoption and her vision for a more supportive, informed adoptive community helped shape New Beginnings into what it is today.

Barbara’s legacy will live on through the countless families she has guided and the children who have found their forever homes. We are grateful for her years of service and wish her all the best in this
new chapter.

Thank you, Barbara, for everything you’ve done. You will always be part of the New Beginnings family. We hope you enjoy your horses and grandchildren.[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column]
